About Me

Hi, I'm Haylie!
Just a girl with a degree in environmental studies and a passion to create!
Born and raised on the island of O'ahu, I spent most of my days throwing a surfboard into an old 4runner and heading to the closest beach I could find. Fast forward a few years, I now spend most of my days running (literally and metaphorically running!! haha) around the beautiful state of Oregon.
Growing up in Hawai'i my family and I always travelled westbound to get home. 2,600 miles away but still true today, going home means I'm going west! Historically (I like to think of those wild west movies), "going west" was a symbol of new beginnings. The same word, but two opposite meanings- home and adventure. This version of westbound I've created symbolizes the comfort of where you came from and the excitement of where you will go.
I can't thank you all enough for supporting this so so so special journey!! As always, stay stoked & #SaveTheWaves ♥︎
